As a part of the Crossrail Information Management Academy and the UK’s BIM Task group he had the privilege of sharing this experience around the world. He leads the innovations group called COMIT, who have been working towards technology driven productivity improvements. Most recently he has been working with multiple government and private organisations through the Centre for Digital Built Britain to define Digital Twins for resilience planning and disaster recovery. This joins together both his knowledge of digital transformation and practical innovation to help ensure quick reactions and robust planning. Malcolm is a leading exponent of the UK’s drive for PIM and Building Information Management (BIM) maturity in client organisations, using digital technologies for better decision-making and management of projects throughout the entire project life cycle. He was a contributor to the UK BIM Task Group and the UK BIM Alliance initiative and has appeared in the media as a transportation specialist, notably on Sky News, BBC News 24 and BBC Radio 4. Recently, as Head of Technical Information at Crossrail for 10 years, Malcolm was responsible for the development of digital and technical information strategies as well as BIM, computer-aided design, document management, Crossrail’s geographic information system (GIS), cyber security issues, and asset information management. He contributed to and helped manage Crossrail’s award winning Innovate 18 programme, now broadened into a UK-wide infrastructure industry innovation platform called i3P. Mr. Stanley WONG, aged 64, was born in Hong Kong. Mr. WONG holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Finance from the Macquarie University, Australia, a Master’s Degree in Comparative and Public History from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers. Mr. WONG spent 37 years in his banking career, started at Standard Chartered Bank in 1974 and retired from Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (“ICBC (Asia)”) in 2011. Mr. WONG has been active in serving the community primarily in town planning, land supply and public housing related issues following an early retirement. He is currently the Chairman of the Advisory Council on the Environment, Chairman of the Museum Advisory Committee, member of the Advisory Committee on Post-service Employment of Civil Servants, and member of the Executive Committee of the Housing Society.
Ir Andrew YOUNG has over 38 years of executive experience, including Director of Partnership Development for the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), and Chief Commercial Officer of Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation. He is now an Associate Director (Innovation) with Sino Group, leading the group’s pursue in innovation & technology development and pursuing investment opportunity in relevant tech ventures. He is a Fellow of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers; a Chartered Profession Engineer and member of the Institutions of Engineers Australia, an Adjunct Professor with the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology; a member of Knowledge Transfer Committee and Electronics Engineering Departmental Advisory Committee of the City University of Hong Kong and Advisory Committee of School of Optometry of PolyU; a member of the Engineering Discipline Advisory Board and Manufacturing Technology Training Board of Vocational Training Council.
Dr. Angus HO is responsible for strategic planning of SMART City including AI Robotics, Big Data Analytics, disruptive technology development as well as project management for the various holdings companies. Prior to joining the current company, he was the Head of Digital Integration Services of Hong Kong Productivity Council and has been responsible for facilitating and managing SMART city, Industrie 4.0, Smart Construction 2.0 as well as Enterprise Transformation 4.0 related projects. He has over 25 years of experience in product marketing, technology development, research and business development, project management, business operations and management in Information Communication Technology, Intelligent Buildings, Smart Home, as well as Telecommunication business sectors. He held senior management position in various holdings companies for over 20 years including New World Development, Hong Kong Communications and Chevalier Group. Dr. HO has been invited as judge for the Hong Kong ICT awards since 2015. In addition, he has been appointed as the final year research dissertation project supervisor of various VTC and Universities program of UK (including Warwick University, Coventry University and Northumbria University) since 2008.
Prof. Eric MA has been the Chief Executive Officer of NWS Holdings Limited since January 2019. He was the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited and Principal Consultant of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation. Prof Ma joined the Government of the HKSAR in January 2014 as the Under Secretary for Development and was subsequently appointed as the Secretary for Development in February 2017. Mr. Iain MISKIMMIN is an Industry Digital Advisor at Bentley Systems with decades of experience in delivering innovation and digital transformation in construction and operations. As a part of the Crossrail Information Management Academy and the UK’s BIM Task group he had the privilege of sharing this experience around the world. He leads the innovations group called COMIT, who have been working towards technology driven productivity improvements. Most recently he has been working with multiple government and private organisations through the Centre for Digital Built Britain to define Digital Twins for resilience planning and disaster recovery. This joins together both his knowledge of digital transformation and practical innovation to help ensure quick reactions and robust planning. Iain is the author of several books based on the knowledge gained in the academies and the creator of 7 Questions of BIM. His current work is around business information modelling and the value proposition.
Mr. Paul OAKLEY has over 30+ years’ industry experience using information technology such as CAD and BIM. He is Director of Oakley CAD services Ltd and owns BIMeLearn.com, an eLearning platform dedicated to teaching the principles of information to improve collaborative workflows. As an Architect he helped establish the principles of Avanti embodied in BS1192:2007 and ISO 19650 as information management. He has driven organisational change and travelled the world implementing the principles of ISO 19650, including middle and far east Asia, and south America by providing advisory services as well as contributing to the authoring of the HK CIC BIM Standard (General). Paul sits on the British Standards Institute B/555 Committee as an Industry expert (BS 1192:2007, PAS 1192-2, BS 8541 Parts 1 to 4, as well as the ISO 19650 series). He also represents the BSI at CEN and ISO on ISO/TC 59/SC 13/WG 13, ISO/TC 59/SC 13/WG 6. and ISO/TC 10/SC 08/WG 18.

Prior to General Electric, Oscar spent more than 10 years in engineering and automation with Emerson Electric, responsible for Greater China business including Commercial Operation, Business Development and Product Management.

Ir Alex KWAN is CEO, Asia of Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), which is a global engineering and construction firm with annual revenue of USD8.5 billion. Prior to joining GISI, Ir KWAN was the Executive Director (Engineering & Technology) of the Airport Authority. Daniel was Interim Vice-President (Administration) and a Professor of Practice (Computing) of Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2015-17, Government Chief Information Officer of Hong Kong SAR Government from 2012-15, Head of Information Technology/CIO of MTR Corporation Ltd. from 1999 to 2011, and held senior IT managerial positions with The Hong Kong Jockey Club between 1978 and 1999. In recognition of his contribution to the development and promotion of IT, he was awarded Bronze Bauhinia Star (B.B.S.) in 2004 and appointed a Justice of Peace in 2001.

Prof. Malcolm TAYLOR is a specialist in digitalisation and the creation, implementation and application of Project Information Management (PIM) on major projects. He has over 40 years of experience in programme and project management, design and construction of major transport infrastructure schemes, gained throughout the Caribbean, UK, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia. Malcolm is a leading exponent of the UK’s drive for PIM and Building Information Management (BIM) maturity in client organisations, using digital technologies for better decision-making and management of projects throughout the entire project life cycle.
