Category Description
Digital Transformation enables organisations to become Digital-Native Enterprises that support innovation and digital disruption. Digital Transformation leverages third platform technologies such as BIM, GIS, CDE and SSSS, and coupled with organisational, operational, and business model innovations to create new ways of operating and growing businesses.

This category rewards organisations that have adopted, advanced and achieved excellence in Digital Transformation. Digital Transformation is defined as the application of new technologies that radically changes processes, customer experience and value.
Entries are open to the digital implementer and can represent project clients from within the built environment (not technology providers). Project clients (Public) shall be closely associated with the rules that are determined by Hong Kong government and controlled or commissioned by a government agency.
Client (Private) (includes Developers)
This category rewards organisations that have adopted, advanced and achieved excellence in Digital Transformation. Digital Transformation is defined as the application of new technologies that radically changes processes, customer experience and value.
Entries are open to the digital implementer and can represent project clients from within the built environment (not technology providers). Project clients shall be the entity, individual or organisation commissioning and funding Hong Kong projects. They owned or controlled by anyone other than a government agency.
Consultant
This category rewards organisations that have adopted, advanced and achieved excellence in Digital Transformation. Digital Transformation is defined as the application of new technologies that radically changes processes, customer experience and value.
Entries are open to the digital implementer and can represent consultants from within the built environment (not technology providers).
Contractor
This category rewards organisations that have adopted, advanced and achieved excellence in Digital Transformation. Digital Transformation is defined as the application of new technologies that radically changes processes, customer experience and value.
Entries are open to the digital implementer and can represent contractors from within the built environment (not technology providers).
Entries shall be from levy-paying contractors which have paid levy for construction works under the Construction Industry Council Ordinance (Cap. 587) to the CIC in the 24 months preceding the time of application; specialist Trade Contractors and Subcontractors who are registered under the Registered Specialist Trade Contractors Scheme (RSTCS) and the Subcontractor Registration Scheme (SRS) operated by the CIC.
Training / Research Institute
This category rewards organisations that have adopted, advanced and achieved excellence in Digital Transformation. Digital Transformation is defined as the application of new technologies that radically changes processes, customer experience and value.
Entries are open to universities, research institutions and training institutions, which can benefit the digital transformation of the Hong Kong construction industry through practical application of the research outcomes or providing appropriate training.
Small and Medium Enterprise (SME)
This category rewards organisations that have adopted, advanced and achieved excellence in Digital Transformation. Digital Transformation is defined as the application of new technologies that radically changes processes, customer experience and value.
This category acknowledges the valuable contributions in pushing the boundaries of digital transformation within the built environment. They should demonstrate a commitment to sustainability, scalability potential and the ability to realize substantial operations through their digital transformation initiatives.
Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) shall be a company less than 50 employees.
